Information We Collect We collect “Non-Personal Information” and “Personal Information.” Non-Personal Information includes information that cannot be used to personally identify you, such as anonymous usage data, general demographic information we may collect, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, preferences you submit and preferences that are generated based on the data you submit and number of clicks. Personal Information includes your name, address, date of birth, address, email and other contact information, which you submit to us through the registration process for the Sparkland mobile application and TheSparkOne Network. For purposes of this Privacy Policy, Personal Information may include information you submit to us regarding your business such as your business name, business address, and taxpayer identification number.

Non-Personal Information Collected via Technology In an effort to improve the quality of our Services, we track information provided to us by your browser or by our software application when you view or use our Services, such as the website you came from (known as the “referring URL”), the type of browser you use, the device from which you connected to our Services, the time and date of access, and other information that does not personally identify you. We track this information through the use of the following:

Cookies Our Services use cookies, which are small text files stored on a hard drive or mobile device for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies to determine how many users we have and how often they use various parts of our Services. We also use cookies to personalize the services you receive as return users. We may use both persistent and session cookies; persistent cookies remain on your device after you close your session and until you delete them, while session cookies expire when you close your browser. You may disable our use of cookies. If you disable the use of cookies, you may still use our Services, but your ability to use some areas and functions of our Services may be limited.

Clear Gifs (Web Beacons/Web Bugs) We may employ a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs) for our Services. These clear gifs will help us better manage content by informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the movements of our users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly in our Services and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence.

Log Files When using our Services, we gather certain information about you automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. We use this information to analyze trends, to administer the application, to track users’ movements and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. This information is not used to track individual users.

To create your account, you must enter your name, date of birth, email address, a unique user name and a password. For purposes of this Privacy Policy, Personal Information may include information you submit to us regarding your business such as your business name, business address, and taxpayer identification number. By registering, you are authorizing us to collect, store and use your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

How We Use Your Non-Personal Information We use your Non-Personal Information for analytical purposes, such as measuring the number of users of our Services, measuring which sections of our Services are more used, making our Services more useful to visitors and delivering targeted advertising and non-advertising content. We use this information to analyze trends, administer our Services, track a visitor’s movement, and gather demographic information for aggregate, non-personally identifiable use.

For example, we use Personal Information to contact users in response to questions, solicit feedback from users, provide technical support, and inform users about promotional offers. How We Store Your Information Keeping your personal information confidential is one of our top priorities. When you enter Personal Information and other sensitive information on our registration page or other areas of our Services, we will encrypt that information to provide you added security. We will not intentionally disclose your information except in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and we will take all commercially reasonable steps to prevent the disclosure of your personal information. You also have the right to deactivate your account through navigation buttons within the Sparkland mobile application and within TheSparkOne Network.

Business Transitions At some point, TheSparkOne may go through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets. In the event this occurs, your Personal Information will likely be among the assets transferred. We will notify you via email or by placing a notice on our Website of any change in ownership or control of your Personal Information.
